If you are an 8th grader traveling on this year’s trip to Washington, DC or a 7th grader interested in traveling on next year’s trip, please pay attention!
There will be an informational meeting for families on Monday, May 13 in our cafeteria at 5:30 PM. The first half of the meeting — from 5:30 to 6:00 — will be about preparing 8th grade families for this year’s trip. Seventh grade families are invited to listen in. It may help families decide whether to send their child on next year’s trip. From 6:00 to 6:30, we will discuss next year’s trip for our seventh grade families and answering any questions you may have.
Please contact Mr. Bissinger if you have any questions about these exciting and educational travel opportunities.
Attention students wanting to work out in the morning: the weight room will now be open from 6:30 to 7:15 Tuesdays and Thursdays for the remainder of the school year. Intramurals will resume after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well, weather permitting.
Tomorrow is Stilwell’s Go The Distance Day!
This is a day when ALL of Stilwell gets up and MOVES!
Every school in the state has been challenged to do 30 minutes of continuous exercise and to Go The Distance!
We will rotate through a fitness circuit of
6 different activities around our building.
Each station has a leader or team of leaders ready to keep you moving!
All you need to do is:
1. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
2. Follow your teacher’s directions and listen for
the air horn blasts over the intercom.
3. Get moving and have fun!
Don’t forget to get your act together and submit a recording to Mrs. Woods or Mr. Hunt by Friday, if you want to be a part of the End-of-the-Year Talent Show. For more information, pick up a flier or ask Mr. Hunt or Mrs. Woods.
